Mastication is one of the first steps to digestion. The more you masticate your food, the better it is for your digestive system. This helps you absorb more nutrients from your food. Did you know that we only absorb 10-90% of the nutrients we consume? Mastication is one of the ways to help keep that number higher. Masticate your food 20-30 times per bite. Try it for one or more meals, see how you feel afterward.
